According to sources over at CinemaSource, newcomer and lead star of “Percy Jackson and the Olympians” Logan Lerman has been cast as Peter Parker for the Spider-Man reboot. CinemaSource reports the following:
Inside sources claim that Percy Jackson star, Logan Lerman has been cast in the Sony reboot of the Spider-Man film series, Director Marc Webb (500 Days of Summer) is set to helm the first film in what I’m guessing will be another trilogy although that has not been confirmed at this time.
Somebody’s set to become a superstar. Can Tobey Maguire’s replacement rejuvenate the Marvel franchise.
