Eco-friendly carry bags are becoming “the trend.” German retailer Neuber teams up with Konarka Industries to produce a line of lightweight Energy Sun-Bags. Strapped with a 1.4W solar panel, each bag is capable of charging most portable electronics (those needing a supply up to 5V to 600mA); MP3 players, cameras, phones, DS’, PSP’s…you name it. Each bag weighs roughly 500 grams (1lb) and comes in 37 colors, with optional custom printing. Though it bears a light G-Factor, the price tag of $180 makes it a heavyweight. Can you say investment?
