Two months after Bradley Cooper was rumored to be up for the lead role in the Indiana Jones reboot, now comes news of Twilight heartthrob being linked to play the iconic action hero. Thankfully, we just discovered all those reports were just bull from the git-go.
The actor sat down with MTV during a presser for his new film, The Rover, to confirm that all hearsay of him cracking the whip and jumping in snake pits is falsified. In his words: “No. I didn’t even know they were rebooting it!” Pattison denied the rumors, which is the best news any hardcore geek of the franchise could ask for.
Ironically, this isn’t the first time Pattison has supposedly been courted for a high-profile role. He’s was mentioned as a possible candidate to star in the Fox’s reboot of Daredevil years back. “People just [make rumors up] so I get bad press afterwards,” he added. Whew. Talk about a close call.
