Market Watch reports the house that Mickey Mouse built, Walt Disney, has acquired Marvel Entertainment, Inc for the listed price above. So Disney owns the rights to the entire Marvel Universe. Oh Joy, Oh Bliss! Shareholders will receive $30 per share in cash plus 0.745 Disney shares for every Marvel share owned. Though current and previous film projects are under legal contracts (mainly Paramount with Iron Man 2, Thor and The Avengers), all film properties made after these films will be the sole right of the mouse. We could only imagine the crossovers in the works.
