Sony announces reworked (not remakes) versions of God of War and God of War II will be released this holiday season on the PS3. Both games will feature smoother graphics and a higher frame rate, running at 1280 by 720 resolution and 60 frames per a second. It’s a pretty hot deal, considering both games run for $20 each on the PS2 as part of the Greatest Hits catalog. Honestly, fans of the series would enjoy Kratos previous adventures as part of a trilogy set, once G.O.W III is released in March. The collection will be tagged at $40 and will be released on a single Blu-ray disc.
