Dark Knight scriber David Goyer has been attached to the Magneto film for quite some time, and considering the Wolverine spin-off was a financial success, audiences would have expected the X-Men’s biggest threat to be greenlit for production already. That’s not the case just yet. Goyer told MTV News, “I’ve been in touch with them…I’m sure that project will move forward in the next year or so.” With Marvel and 20th Century Fox pushing Deadpool and Wolverine 2, hopes for Magneto’s return look pretty dismal.
