The 2012 Geneva Motor Show has finally arrived. Every major automaker is wheeling in their latest concepts and supercars onto the international showroom floor, with the Brits leading the charge, unveiling the new two-seater Lotus Exige S Roadster. Under the hood lies a supercharged 3.5-liter V6 engine with 345hp and 400Nm of torque, along with six-speed manual or optional Serial Precision Shift gearbox. Acceleration clocks in at 0 to 60 in 3.8 seconds with a top speed of 145mph. The Exige S is basically an Elise with a bigger engine that Lotus describes as “rawer than a Japanese tasting menu.” Nice way to describe it. The Lotus Exige S Roadster is set to hit the Asian and European market only, leaving many US autophiles super tight and jealous. Import, gentlemen…import.
