The console version of King of the Fighters XII didn’t make much of an impact here in the states, but SNK Playmore announces the new installment of the 2D fighter, King of the Fighters XIII will hit Japanese arcades sometime this year. It’s been noted that XIII will run on the Taito Taito X2 arcade system board. No word yet on the fighter roster or release date, but SNK plans on previewing the title sometime next month.
