Phenomenal Graphics
ShadowFall makes the best use of the PS4 hardware by showcasing the console’s sheer graphics power. The littlest details such as metal, glass and cloth look surreal, and it’s just not the little things that standout. Natural elements and mountain cliffs feel like you are staring at a painting. What really makes the graphics pop is the use of visual space, as the developer made sure to use every visual aspect they could–encouraging you to put the controller down and take it all in.
Weak Dialogue
The dialogue has to be audible in order to really enjoy a storyline. During the cut-scenes. you can hardly hear what was being said as Sinclair is heard muttering throughout the game, becoming an unfavorable character in the process. Another character you will come in contact with is Kellan, who hardly speaks a word throughout the game as well. We had hoped for more in-depth convos and speeches that fit the game’s intense gameplay.
