Judging from the recent tweet sent out by director Bryan Singer, Marvel fanboys can expect a follow-up to X-Men: Days of Future Past in 2016 with one major surprise attached to the film: Apocalypse. “#Xmen #Apocalypse 2016!” appeared on the filmmaker’s Twitter page, leading us to speculate that the immortal mutant and infamous X-Men villain will become the newest threat for the group in the planned sequel. Whether or not the film will be linked to the upcoming X-Force project has yet to be determined. Days of Future Past couldn’t come any sooner!
