HTC Rezound Verizon Beats by Dre

It was just a while back when HTC unveiled its partnership with audio powerhouse Beats By Dre, introducing the HTC Sensation XE with BBD audio integration. Though the international market had first dibs, the mobile staple behind this year’s most exciting Android phones is bringing over the XE to the states this holiday season under a new moniker: the HTC Rezound. The Verizon-exclusive handset will be the first smartphone in the US to bundle Beats Audio technology and Beats headphones with ControlTalk functionality, plus it’ll run on the carrier’s lightening fast LTE network, sport a 1.5GHz dual-core CPU, and come Ice Cream Sandwich-ready. Enough talk.

Here’s a peak at the Rezound’s spec sheet:

o First smartphone in the U.S. to feature Beats Audio™ technology and Beats Audio™ headphones with ControlTalk remote control and microphone (exclusive to HTC)

o 4.3-inch super LCD screen, 1280 x 720, HD 720p

o 1.5 GHz dual-core processor

o 4G LTE Service

o Android Gingerbread + HTC Sense 3.5

o 8-megapixel camera with autofocus, dual LED flash, f/2.2, 28mm wide-angle lens

o 2-megapixel front-facing camera

o 1080p video recorder

o 32GB Storage/1GB RAM

o DLNA & HDMI support

The HTC Rezound will be available on November 14th for $299.99 (w/two-year contract).
