The creators behind Half-Life and Portal are looking to jump into the hardware sector, showing off the first steps of its plan to fuse the new SteamOS hardware. According to the Steam Machines Beta Test Agreement, Valve has already developed a game controller. We won’t know too much until Valve makes its official announcement on Friday at 1pm Eastern. “Valve Corporation (“Valve”, “We”, “Us” or “Our”) has developed and produced prototypes of entertainment system hardware and software, including a set-top box running custom software and a game controller (collectively: “Beta Products”),” the agreement claims. Guess we’re gonna have to play the wait game these next 24 hours.
