Google Plus Google Voice

Google’s made several announcements today concerning its numerous ventures, including the swap out of Motorola CEO Sanjay Jha with their very own Dennis Woodside. The search engine kingpin also confirmed that Google Voice would now support Google + integration. According to the official Google Voice Blog, both services will be linked and combine info from your Google + profile into your Voice account. Software Engineer Tom Ford briefly expands on the concept:

To help make it even easier for you to organize your contacts, today we’re adding Google+ Circles to Google Voice. Circles give you more control over how you manage your callers; for example, calls from your “Creepers” circle can be sent straight to Voicemail, only your “College Buddies” circle will hear you rap your voicemail greeting, or you can set your “Family” circle to only ring your mobile phone.

You can customize your Circles settings by visiting the Groups & Circles tab in your Google Voice settings.

Those logged onto Google Voice can start setting up new circles and phone settings via Groups and Circles tab on the Voice site.
