Twitter continues to breaks news. @Mayroth_Tucker3’s managed to tweet “Friday the 13th” producer Brad Fuller and ask about the progress of the sequel, and Fuller responded by saying “it is dead- not happening.” Couldn’t be more blunt huh. “Friday the 13th Part 2” was supposedly being planned by New Line Cinema and Warner Bros. and was teased for an August 13, 2010 release, with the possibility of being shot in 3D, but that’s pretty much dead now. Surprising too, considering the remake pulled in $40 million it’s opening weekend.
