Evolve Ent. MEETS MITSUBISHI IN MEXICO

For 2011, Mitsubishi takes it’s line of crossovers in an all new direction of excitement and don’t be surprised if you see them in all levels of price brackets very soon. The Outlander Sport adds an all-new level of affordable excitement fun transportation.

On a recent trip to Cabo San Lucas, Evolve was among a few of the hand picked publications and websites selected for a superior driving experience with Mitsubishi’s new 2011 Outlander Sport and oh what a time we had. What happens in Cabo, stays in Cabo but what we can share is that this is one heck of a vehicle to drive! Heading across Mexico on over an hour-long drive, gazing upon the breathtaking views and dodging the cows that randomly cross the road without warning, we were thoroughly impressed.

For starters, the sleek yet aggressive front-end styling gives it a presence-demanding look without being overdone. Mitsubishi’s Product Strategy Manager, Brian Arnett says, “This design is only the beginning of brand recognition in the street”. With a .33 Drag Co-efficiency, it’s the Best in its class and the inside is just as appealing. The ergonomic design doesn’t have a ton of buttons however the focus is more on the “touch points”. Here’s where Mitsubishi really considers the driver. These “touch points” are areas that the driver has to touch regularly to navigate the car like the steering wheel and shift knob so both are leather, not plastic. The one touch start/stop engine switch means…no searching for misplaced keys guys and the Passive Entry Systems adds to the “addictive features” of the vehicle.

One feature that was amazing was the glass sunroof, which has LED light rails that have 3 settings for mood and ambiance. It’s a fun and creative feature that adds a crazy hot element of design. To top it off, the vehicle also offers the FUSE hands free link system that connects to Bluetooth. Drivers can plug in their contacts on the navigation system and all of your music from an iPod or even a simple thumb drive. With this feature, drivers are able to use voice recognition to hear all of the music they love. Of course, this was a big winner for Evolve Ent! not to mention the 710 watt Rockford Fosgate Premium Audio System which is installed and sealed into the doors creating a bass box driven effect. Hands down…Evolve Give’s the Outlander Sport a Thumbs UP!
