ESGN Announces Official Launch Date

A couple of weeks ago, we announced that there would be a new eSports channel airing 24 hours devoted to all e-sports tournament news. It’s official. ESGN has a launch date! The channel will be premiere there first installment called “Fight Night,” which features well-known pro gamers competing on January 6, 2014.

Dan “Artosis” Stemkoski, who spent years as a professional StarCraft player and commentator for GomTV, will not only participate in the event, but also help in the development of “Fight Night”.

The show will feature Other eSports competitors and commentators: including Hearthstone professionals Cong “StrifeCro” Shu, Jeffrey “Trump” Shih, and Octavian “Kripparrian” Morosan. In upcoming episodes, StarCraft IIpro gamers Manuel “Grubby” Schenkhuizen, Jeong “MVP” Jong Hyeon, and Lim “NesTea” Jae Duk will appear on the program later in January. Future episodes will also have world-famous Street Fighter competitors, Sun Woo “Infiltration” Lee (South Korea), Hajime “Tokido” Taniguchi (Japan) and Ryan “gootecks” Gutierrez (Caster).
