Bungie recently announced on Twitter that it will be extending the Destiny alpha for PS4 owners. “If you’re still playing, pardon our dust. This is for the beta!” said Bungie. More interestingly, the company also tweeted: “There’s a rumor that the Destiny alpha might be extended to allow dangerous experiments. Play beyond the official close at your own risk!”
That is certainly very exciting. One can only wonder what those experiments will be, and hope that the Internet will be full of interesting news on said experiments in the coming days. The beta version releases July 17 for PlayStation 4 and PS3, and a few days later for Xbox One and Xbox 360. Check out IGN’s short hands-on preview of the Destiny alpha to ease your appetite for now.
