Activision has recently come out with its ‘Back in Black’ trailer–revealing Call of Duty: Black Ops III. Before the trailer was revealed, there was a lot of speculation was floating around that the developers were going to run with a sequel for World at War. However, the teaser, which was packed full of quotes from Black Ops I and Black Ops II, along with the Roman numeral reveal has definitely sealed the fact that this will be a brand new Black Ops title.
Following on the success of Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare, it is still up in the air how Black Ops III will play out. whether it will continue with the exosuit concept, or forge its own path with a brand new mechanic no one can say right now. With the addition of Sledgehammer as developers added to Treyarch and Infinity Ward, it’s easy to assume they may try something brand new. Though if tradition is to be followed, they will try to make this game as different as possible to keep in line with the other Call of Duty game releases.
