For the past several months, the BMW 9-Series has remained one of the most desired luxury concept vehicles on the scene. As most of us anticipate its future release, new reports suggest the German automaker will bring the vehicle to this year’s Beijing Motor Show—presenting a modified version of its lightweight architecture set that will be used by the next-gen 7-Series.
Many still question whether BMW will actually put the 9-Series into production, but the odds seem favorable these days, especially as companies like Mercedes-Benz continue to push for that top spot with its S-Class offering. Guess it only makes sense for BMW since it doesn’t have a car to compete with the S-Class Coupe and Convertible.
The Beijing Auto Show kicks off April 23, 2014.
