Halo Dominates Microsoft Conference with Three Announcements
While everyone had their eyes pointed towards the giant, seizure-inducing stage at Microsoft’s presser, the one thing on their minds was Halo 5: Guardians. It appeared the company felt like that was a little too small in scope. So it came out and delighted their fans with something none of them expected: the Master Chief Collection. The bundle set to feature the original trilogy and Halo 4 will now be playable on the Xbox One, which will also include the remastered Halo 2 Anniversary. In addition, Microsoft mentioned the bundle would offer a beta to Guardians. And as much as this is going to sound like a Billy Mays ad, that’s not all folks! 343 Studios is also including a new miniseries that takes place before Halo 5 called Halo: Nightfall. Like we said, Master Chief ran the Microsoft press conference.
