With large franchises like Terminator and James Cameron’s Avatar on his resume, Sam Worthington is bound to become 2010’s “IT” actor. Reports from HollyScoop state the actor is in the running to star as the lead in the Flash Gordon rehash, but so is another familiar face…one that’s already cast to star in 2 other superhero leads:
“If he gets the role it would be quite a big deal as Flash is an all-American hero,” dished one Hollywood insider. “Right now it’s between Sam, Ryan Reynolds and one or two others for the lead role should the project actually get off the ground.”
If Reynolds was smart, stick to two and don’t typecast yourself. Good look though for Worthington though.
