Whether it’s through noise-cancelling headphones or portable Bluetooth speakers, mobilephiles are constantly looking for ways to enhance their music-listening experience. But little do they know there are a number of audio apps available through their respective app stores, which carry a number of awesome features to deliver similar, if not better results. Well if you’re one who adores using their iPhone as a music blaster, consider downloading Audibly.
The app created by a trio of young coders is capable of turning your iPhone’s speakers into a wireless surround-sound system—synching songs to multiple people’s iOS devices at once—converting them into an ad hoc audio system. All music is streamed instead of transferred wirelessly, a technique that is achieved by tapping the “broadcast” button featured on the UI. While relying heavy on peer-to-peer Wi-Fi, the developers suggest the app does require a good signal to stream content.
Some of Audibly’s other dope features include favoriting tracks that can be revisited on your list of favorites and played again through Spotify, Rdio, or purchased on iTunes. Download it for FREE at the App Store.
