Take Two’s Ben Feder recently announced at a conference call with GameSpot that their biggest sports franchise, the NBA 2K series, will be arriving on the Wii this fall. Feder states, “All of our sports products need to be multiplatform…As we said over and over again on these calls, Nintendo was a terrific and important partner for Take-Two, and we expect that to continue over time, and especially in our sports business.”
Lets stop beating around the bush. Translation: sales aren’t looking too good. Since released, Nintendo’s little system that could has managed to help third-party publishers increase revenue, producing less than stellar titles, but still pushing units nonetheless. Expect NBA 2K10 to hit multi-platforms this September.
