Scope of the Game
Whether it’s a crawl space or on the vast terrain of the planet, Destiny is quite massive. It’s not clear whether the game is actually as big as it looks or just has the best backdrops in gaming history, but it does provide a huge scope in all aspects of design. From its new and improved organic multiplayer system, to its vast gunplay, Destiny will redefine how gamers see open-world gaming. Costing a rumored nine figures to develop, one would only expect to be immersed in a gaming world that’s of massive proportions. Seeing how Bungie and Activision secured a 10-year gaming deal, this could just be the honeymoon phase of what looks to be a long and prosperous marriage—one that might shapeshift gaming development moving forward.
