Good news: it’s been a great year for videogames so far. Bad news: the rest of the year might not be quite as exciting. Sure, we’ll be getting the new Smash Bros. (for the 3DS) and Destiny, but other than that, it looks like the holiday season is going to be kind of quiet. Fortunately, this E3 2014 showed us plenty of great games that we’re looking forward to playing…when they finally come out next year. Even if 2014 ends with a whimper instead of a bang, 2015 is shaping up to be a kick-ass time for the gaming world.
