Inspired by the popular Super Mario Bros. 3 level, the DS course features a number of notable baddies including Bullet Bills, Rocky Wrenches, and more. It also presents the Cannon Pipe, which shoot drivers out on the fortress through the air. Strategic racers had the option of pushing others into a crack at the end of the course, placing them down one lap upon passing the finish line.
