Tekken Tag Tournament 2 Rage and Netsu Power

7. Rage and Netsu Power

In Solo battles, the game will feature “Rage” mode from Tekken 6, which gives characters more damage per hit once vitality drops below a certain point. In Tag battles, Netsu Power happens when the on-screen character gets attacked a number of times and the off-screen character’s life bar flashes. If tagged in, the off-screen character comes in slightly stronger. While different in activating and boosting a character, both features add an extra layer to the already in-depth gameplay. These additions are the salt and pepper to an already deliciously, yet intense meal.

Tekken Tag Tournament 2 Game Modes

8. Tons of Game Modes

First up, a story mode with longer interludes and endings for ALL CHARACTERS. Something most games can slack on, but works great for new and diehard fans. Then the Fight Lab with customizable bots for players of all skill levels, as well as many other practice options and lessons to be learned about the game. Tekken Tunes, where you can set-up soundtracks, presumably from a large library of classic franchise songs. Ghost Battle, Time Attack, and Survival round out the main game modes. Like the first Tekken Tag Tournament, expect some Mini-Games, hinted at by screenshots, which at times have become cult classics in themselves (think Tekken Ball from Tekken 3).
