5. Expanded Training Mode Options
For those new to the franchise, Tekken can become an intimidating technical fighter. Tag Tournament 2 offers an improved training/practice mode for easing new players into the game, as well as several advanced options for more experienced players. The Fight Lab is the premiere new mode for all console versions, presenting tutorials and lessons to master fighting techniques. In addition, the customizable Combot can be tuned to all skill-levels, granting practice for combos, blocking, etc. Whether you’re learning a new character, getting re-familiar with a favorite, or just mastering fundamentals—Tag Tournament 2 has all the practice mode options you could ever want.
6. The Most Updated Version To Date
Tag Tournament 2 released in Japanese arcades last September, and after players crash-tested the game for a bit, Namco Bandai released an update dubbed TTT2: Unlimited. It dropped on March 2012 featuring new items, customization options, and improved fighting mechanics. The console version will be the same exact title. This is a huge plus of any fighting game, curing any imbalance or major disparity in the fighters, or should anything game-breaking such as infinite combos arise. Both the casual and competitive Tekken player will appreciate the developer’s hard work in bringing a fun and fine-tuned experience mostly free of unwanted shenanigans.
