Zombieland was a bigger hit than Sony expected and Moviehole got the goods on the anticipated sequel.
Moviehole.net spoke with Zombieland director Ruben Fleischer about a sequel and the direction it would go in:
director Ruben Fleischer yesterday, who confirmed Sony are very interested in a “Zombieland” sequel. And he’s ready to go. The original cast – Woody Harrelson, Jesse Eisenberg, Emma Stone & Abigail Breslin – are also ready to slap another coffin dodger with the, er, ‘rule’ book. In other words, unless the events of “2012” come true… we’ll be seeing a sequel in a couple of years.
But the most interesting development? Fleischer says the next film will likely be 3-D – yep…
