It is ridiculously crazy to think that the Xbox One and PS4 1-year anniversaries are coming up, but here we are. As a reminder of just how long a year is, Microsoft has decided to release a plethora of information about Xbox One’s first year in commission.

In total, gamers have amassed over 11 b…b…billion gamerscore in Xbox One’s first year. Again, this is just on the Xbox One, so the number for all Xbox platforms must be astronomical. To go along with this, gamers have spent more than 2 b…b…billion hours on the Xbox One total. I say gamers there because that number is only for time spent in games. That’s right, Xbox is still, in fact, a gaming platform.

Microsoft has also released the four most achieved achievements. They are – Welcome To Forza Motorsport (Forza 5); Build Yourself (Titanfall); Ship Rite (Destiny); Spatial Awareness (Call of Duty: Ghosts).

“To show our appreciation for your local and continued support.” – Microsoft is giving some things away for select gamers. The selection process is strange though. Gamers must be – 17 years or older, have played 10+ hours on Xbox One and must have bought the console before November 11th, 2014. If you fit that category, you can receive some unique things on Friday. A Year One Gamer Picture, New Xbox One Backgrounds, A free rental of Dragon Ball Z: Battle of the gods, a free rental of Halo 4: Forward Unto Dawn, and a Xbox One background picture for Twitter use.

Finally, if you are eligible under the given conditions for the free stuff coming Friday, you will be randomly put in a draw for one of these items:

  • Xbox One Limited Edition Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare Bundle
  • Xbox One Special Edition Sunset Overdrive Bundle
