MOGA HERO
Best suited for: The MOGA Hero works great for the quick-fix gamer that requires entertainment on their ride home from work. Slim and sleek, it’s clearly aimed towards those who enjoy arcade, puzzle, racing, and RPG games.
Pros
With a portably slim design, the controller is fit for the person that looks for something small to just throw in their backpack or jacket pocket. The smaller form factor equals portable comfort, allowing you to pull it out in any environment such as the bus, coffee shop, or bathroom stall. Though it has the same button setup, this version differs from its bigger sibling by offering smaller dual-clickable along sticks. Four left and right shoulder buttons are also present. And just like the Pro, it can charge any Android phone during gameplay interaction and features MOGA Arm with S.M.R.T. Lock technology as well.
Cons
The Hero is more lightweight—meaning if you slap a larger Android phone like the Samsung Galaxy Note 3 onto it, the controller is prone to tipping over. So in order to secure your handset from sustaining any damage, one must adjust the MOGA arm. Keep in mind though that doing so makes it harder to see the screen. And even though the controller doubles as a battery pack, it doesn’t carry the same power capacity as the Pro Power. The Hero comes with a built-in rechargeable 1,800mAh battery, good enough for some vitality.
