If you actually spent money this summer to see Piranha 3D, you definitely saw the carnivorous fish take more than a chunk out of Ving Rhames character. But according to a recent interview withBlood-Disgusting, the fan favorite hints at Dimension Films bringing him back for upcoming 3D sequel:
“They’re talking about [it], because you don’t necessarily see me die – and even though I’m not in the film that much, people responded to my character…So that’s why they’re talking about doing something. But I think they’re writing it as we speak.”
We’re curious to see how the writers bring him back. Piranha 3DD is project for a September 16, 2011 release.
