Back at the 2008 Paris Motor Show, the Lamborghini Estoque had motor enthusiasts buzzing with anticipation. And after being MIA for three years, now comes news that the luxury convertible is in production with a basic model expected to arrive in 2014. A drop top version is set for a 2015 release.
So what can we find under the hood? A 5.2-liter V10 that generates 600 HP at 8000 rpm and accelerates up to 63 mph in 4.5 seconds, with a top speed of 190 mph—the same engine found in the upcoming Lamborghini Cabrera.
There’s also the possibility of a hybrid drive-train model being available with lithium-ion battery technology sometime in the future. Many expect the Estoque to range approximate at around $230,000. Well worth it!
