You heard the rumors and now it’s become official—the HTC One Mini will be released and hitting select markets this August, with a global rollout coming this September. The smaller rendition of HTC’s flagship phone will be downsized to a 4.3-inch screen, dual-core 1.4GHz Snapdragon processor, while carrying 1GB of DDR2 RAM, 16GB of internal storage, 1800mAh battery, and the company’s signature UltraPixel camera. Shockingly though, HTC’s made the call to remove the IR Blaster and NFC support on the One Mini. Not exactly what we had in mind. No pricing has been announced at the moment, but we’ll keep you posted.
