The Buick Regal GX Concept

Displayed at the Detroit Auto Show early this year, the Buick Regal GS’ distinctive bold coloring accommodates its weight in muscle performance. The 5-passenger sedan sports a six-speed manual transmission system and adaptive all-wheel drive, also the all-new Interactive Drive Control System (IDCS)—A three mode system (Normal, Sport and GS) that monitors throttle, suspension, steering and shift pattern. The IDCS switches the color of the panel lights to an “ice blue” when in GS mode.

Strengthened by a turbocharged 2.0-liter Ecotec eingine, 225 horsepower and 295 lb-ft of torque muscle its way onto the road. The Regal GS carries an enhanced direct-injected 4-cylinder engine and helps push the sedan vehicle from 0 to 60mph in nearly 6 seconds. 14-inch four-piston Brembos and high-performance pads are an additional feature for the concept car.

In addition, the incorporation of the HiPerStrut system provides 4-wheel independent suspension for the front wheels and reduces torque steering. Sedan seekers can customize the interior any color they choose. The headliner, pillars, shifter and steering wheel come stained in black as well. No release date or MSRP is available at the moment, but the Evolve team promises to keep you updated.
