NYCC 2013 Pop Culture Shock Collectibles

Pop Culture Shock Collectibles

If you’re in the market for some geekdom décor, a little something to make your coffee table pop, Pop Culture Shock Collectibles has some dope ideas for you. This year’s show saw a number of highly chiseled video game characters come out of the box such as Goro, Shao Khan, and Sub-Zero from Mortal Kombat, along with Street Fighter fan-favs Akuma and Alex. Hence the name “pop culture,” crafter Jerry Macaluso has been creating pieces since 1996 when he sculpted for Toy Biz, Mattel, and others in the past. We definitely wouldn’t mind having that Akuma life-sized head in the office.

NYCC 2013 Mezco Toy Collectibles

Mezco

Even though Breaking Bad has come to an end, doesn’t mean you have to part ways with the show forever. Mezco has some detailed action figures of Walter. Not to mention, the company hold licenses for other properties: including Earthworm Jim, Chucky, and even South Park. What they are mainly known for though is their “Living Dead Doll” series.
