Sony Xperia Z Tablet
Sony has made multiple attempts at creating the perfect tablet and hit some bumps along the road. Well, they finally got it right with their Xperia Z tablet. Following in the footsteps of the Xperia Z smartphone, which has been getting impressive reviews, the device is being coined as the “world’s lightest and thinnest” 10-inch tablet. Internals include 2GB of RAM, a Qualcomm 1.5Ghz quad-core Snapdragon S4 Pro, and 1080P display. On the back is an 8MP camera with Sony’s Exmor R sensor and 2MP front-facing camera for some nice Skype HD convos. It’s set to launch with Jelly Bean 4.1 and promises further updates after release.
Asus PadFone Infinity
With its aluminum brushed backing, the PadFone Infinity is a spec-carrying powerhouse. Processing power of 1.7GHz Snapdragon 600, 2GB of RAM, 32/64GB of storage and Android Jelly Bean 4.2–your looking at a behemoth. The display is a 5-inch Super IPS LCD with 441ppi. Also, the device packs a 13-megapixel camera on the back and 2MP front-facing shooter. Not to mention this phone comes with a 10.1 dock. Wait…what? You can slide the phone into the slot of a secondary peripheral and transform it into a tablet. It will transmit everything that is on the phone and provide extra battery life. If it weren’t for the high price tag of $1,300, which is absolutely insane, I could see the Infinity hitting the US market.
