HTC One

Already getting a head start on MWC, last week was the announcement of the HTC One. Their new flagship looks to be on all major carriers (excluding Verizon) and sports a sexy aluminum design that compliments a gorgeous 4.7-inch display of 468ppi. Dual-front speakers also make for great audio listening. New UI changes in the latest version of Sense welcomes the news feed-heavy BlinkFeed and incredible camera upgrades that are sure to revolutionize the mobile photography experience once again. Round it out with specs such as a 1.7GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon 600 processor, 2GB of RAM, and 32/64GB of memory: is it really that shocking to see it beat out the competition for Best of Show honors? Of course, not.

Alcatel One Touch Idol X

Not really known as a company with high-end devices, Alcatel looks to change that with the One Touch Idol X. It may be one of the best-designed Android devices at MWC, sporting a beautiful 5-inch panel and very slim bezels. Thus making the phone light and very thin. Spec-wise, it’s running a 1.2 quad-core processor, and Android 4.1 Jelly Bean, while boasting a 13MP shooter and a 2,000mah battery.
