T-MObile Jump Upgraded Plans

Those in the industry received an invite for T-Mobile’s press event this afternoon, with the carrier announcing it would be making its “boldest moves yet.” While most of us anticipated new hardware, that’s not the case. Instead, T-Mo customers will be introduced to the carrier’s new Jump service—an unlimited device upgrade plan that lets subscribers upgrade their current handset at “new customer pricing” at any time and as much as they want. Exciting? Mehh.

Other reports indicate that customers might have to pay an extra monthly fee to enroll in the service. On the plus side, customers who sign up won’t have to wait two years to upgrade their phone. Guess we’ll find out more details in the next two hours. Stay tuned.
