Earlier this week, an incredible film poster of the upcoming The Expendables 2 hit the Net and had 80s action fanboys giddy as hell. But unfortunately, we were all duped. That’s according to lead star Sylvester Stallone. The actor confirmed with Craig At StalloneZone that the poster was not real, stating the following:
The poster that everyone is seeing on line is completely unofficial and bogus. The official poster is far from being completed so unfortunately people like to pull pranks. Please everyone spread the word that the real poster won’t be out for several months.
The original source of the fan-made film ad remains a mystery, but whoever crafted the sheet is ridiculously talented. Let’s just hope the official poster looks this dope when Lionsgate unveils it. Take one final look at it fellas and tell us if you think it deserves be the film’s official poster.
