Exotic Looks
In pictures, the Diavel seems overly large and busy looking, but the perception changes when you see it in person. Taut and tight, the details that standout in the pics blend into a more cohesive package. In other words, it’ll strike you just how compact this bike is. It’s closer in size to Ducati’s supersport offerings in comparison to traditional cruisers. Although the Diavel might not be as painfully attractive as some of the manufacturer’s other bikes, it’s the right type of aggressiveness and style to break into the cruiser segment.
That Engine
The 90-degree V-Twin engines are the heart and soul of Ducati’s bikes. Continuing in this tradition in an untraditional segment is the Diavel’s 1200cc Testeratta unit, which produces 162hp and a massive 94lb-ft. If a MotoGP bike and a jet engine were fused together, this motor would be the result. It barks to life with a howl and screams upon acceleration.
