Mission Motorcycles first speedster, the Mission One, received less-than-stellar remarks from both motor enthusiasts and the industry. Not to say it was a complete disaster. It really wasn’t. Just disappointing. The promising start-up company hopes to wrong a right by delivering two electric motorbikes in its Mission series: the Electric R and RS.
Aside from running on an electric powertrain, both models will don the same powertrain with the RS offering a bigger battery pack option. A 160bhp electric motor comes paired with a 12 kWh (169 kms), 15l kWh (193 kms), or 17 kWh (225 kms) battery pack—pushing a top speed of 240 km/h. Other notable specs include turn-by-turn navigation and new Internet-connected OS with wireless HUD integration.
The Mission Motorcycles R and RS run for the respective price tags of $30,000 and $60,000.
