Most Konami fans have developed a bittersweet taste in regards to the PS Vita port of Metal Gear Solid HD Collection. While they’ve embraced the chance to revisit the series biggest PS2 titles (Sons of Liberty and Snake Eater), they feel slighted over the company’s decision to leave out the PSP games (featured on the PS3 release), along with the extended versions of the PS2 entries. By those we mean MGS 2: Substance and MGS 3: Subsistence. Well, Brand Manager Kevin Vlaming politic’d with us about the upcoming Vita release and touched on several things. Besides giving us a hands-on with the game, he mentions a few goodies packaged in the game such as VR Missions and cross-platform data transfers.
