The 84th Annual Academy Awards are set to air this Sunday (February 26th). And with the stars lined up to hit the red carpet for Hollywood’s biggest night, this year’s nominees (and select presenters) are receiving a special treat from Motorola. The mobile giant has created a special edition “Red Carpet” Droid RAZR Maxx for actors to take home. Moto claims the Android powerhouse will not be available in stores or online, but consumers will have a chance to win the phone by partaking in a Twitter sweepstakes that kicks off Thursday (February 23rd). Retweet #RedCarpetRAZR and Moto will end up choosing five lucky winners. In addition to receiving the special edition Droid RAZR Maxx, this year’s most praised performers will walk away with Motorola’s stylish Elite Sliver Bluetooth headset. Nice package.
