If you know anything about Japan and South Korea, you know they have the illest rivalry. From World War 2 to the World Baseball Classic, there has always been that tension. So after the unveiling of Japan’s Gundam, it comes as no surprise that South Korea has announced the construction of their own giant robot, the Taekwon V or Voltar the Invincible.
It will stand at 364 feet high (about twice the size of the Statue of Liberty), cost about one billion dollars, and be completed by 2013. But the burning question remains, will the two robots engage in an all out melee involving missles and then form a temporary alliance to fight off Godzilla and then return to fighting for the pride of its nation?!?!
