In Jonah Hill’s leaked emails, it was revealed that the third installment could be goin in a different direction. The Holly Reporter tells us emails from Amy Pascal, Sony co-chairman, emailed Hill about combing the two successful films. Hill is on board calling the idea, “rad and clean.” Columbia Pictures production president, Hannah Minghella does bring attention to the fact that there isn’t a script but that’s okay because according to Minghella, “we’ll be greenlighting the movie off the concept and talent involved.”

21 and 22 Jump Street producers, Chris Miller and Phil Lord would be involved in the film but lead actors of Men in Black, Tommy Lee Jones and Will Smith would not be involved. Although this is all theoretical, it has been considered and would serve as interesting crossover of the studios. Sony is also believed to try and expand the rights to Spider-Man. But if that fails: Will the studio have Channing Tatum and Jonah Hill fighting aliens?
