Sega has finally answered heaven’s call…Sonic Team will not be developing the upcoming Sonic 4 adventure. Responsible for the past decade’s atrocious Sonic console titles, Sonic Team crucified Sega’s mascot with badly developed mechanics, scaring the hedgehog’s image for the gaming Hall of Fame. Osaka-based Dimps (Street Fighter IV, Sonic Rush and Sonic Advance) will helm developer duties. On top of that, 1UP recently leaked pics of Sonic 4, to which they dropped just a few hours later. Some of the screens confirmed the Splash Hill, Lost Labyrinth, Casino Street and Mad Gear Zones; along with the Special Stage. Things are looking up for Sonic in the new decade.
