The Oregon Scientific RMR802 Solar-Powered Thermometer, an ultra-thin and ultra-attractive temperature station displays both indoor and outdoor temperature, in addition to maintaining accurate time via the radio-controlled clock display. The thermometer also utilizes solar panels to extend the life of its internal battery.

The thermometer can display temperature in both Celsius or Fahrenheit degrees, and stores the maximum and minimum temperatures for that day. Chilly outside? Should the external temperature sensor detect that it has reached freezing outside, then the RMR802 will light up an LED Ice Alert on the display.

Two AAA batteries power the thermometer and the remote temperature sensor designed to go outdoors is powered one AA battery. The main unit measures 75mm x 33mm x 120mm in size, where as the temperature sensor measures just 96mm x 50mm x 22mm. Prices start at around £28 in the UK. However, the Oregon Scientific RMR802 thermometer does not appear to be available in the U.S. Get your import on!
