Sequel Alert: Deebo Announces ‘Friday 4’, Chris Tucker Set For Return?

TMZ caught up with actor Tiny “Zeus” Lister, best known for playing hood badass Deebo, who confirmed an advanced meeting with Ice Cube and Chris Tucker to discuss a fourth film in the Friday film series. Lister adds, “There’s a lot of conversation hopefully going down next week with Ice Cube and Chris Tucker. And we gonna do one more Friday. This is gonna be the big one.” While the announcement remains no surprise, the shock value comes from Tucker’s involvement with the project, as the comedian has been MIA throughout the past two sequels. Will Mike Epps be brought back into the mix as well? Who knows. While the rumors of Tucker returning remain premature, he might just be onboard as a producer. So until we get the official word or IMBD film listing, we’ll remain hopeful of Smokey’s escape from rehab. And you know…the rest. Here’s video of Lister mentioning Friday 4 to TMZ.

Update: Ice Cube just confirmed on his Twitter page (@icecube) a few hours ago that Friday 4 is a go: “The 4th Friday movie is in the works. Working out a deal with New Line Cinema.”
