Eurogamer claims its sources have the new Kinect 2 being bundled with the next-gen Xbox console and will be powerful enough to support accurate lip reading. One development source supposedly told the gaming site that the Kinect successor is so powerful that it can “enable games to lip read, detect when players are angry, and determine in which direction they are facing.” In addition, the motion-sensor peripheral should also track the volume and pitch of a player’s voice to “measure different emotional states.” The Kinect 2 is rumored to offer a couple of other new features, which you can read on Eurogamer’s site. As predicted, Microsoft told the site it “does not comment on rumour or speculation”. These Xbox 720 rumors are getting pretty crazy right now.
